On the evening of September 18th, the online experience sharing meeting of "seniors have something to say" organized by the Graduate Student Union of our college was successfully held. Feng Huanan, Chu Mingliang, Dong Yuqing, Hou Yaran, Li Yifan, Luo Bing, Tao Runyingand other outstanding graduate representatives of our college in 2020 shared their experience in job hunting and doctoral examination. Graduate counselor Li Mingxuan and some graduate students attended the meeting.

Feng Huanan, who was admitted to the Renmin University of China for a doctoral degree, shared his test experience with students. He emphasized that "before you decide to take a PhD examination, you must first understand yourself, that is, whether you are interested in academic research. Academic research needs to be able to endure loneliness, sit on a cold bench, be able to endure hardship and stress, and at the same time maintain sufficient hair volume. "The humorous speech brought the students full of" dry goods "and won praises from the students. Tao Runying, who works in the Zhumadian Municipal Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth League, warned the students that job hunting is a process of accumulating and growth. We should learn to polish and enrich our resumes. This is not a simple revision that can be completed, but it needs our unremitting efforts of three years.Luo Bing, who was admitted to Luohe City’s orientation selection student, shared her road to public examination. "Selection students should not only carefully review and summarize the questions, but also understand current affairs and politics, learn more about the relevant news pushed by the Learning power APP and the People's Daily and constantly improve professionalism."She hopes that everyone can ask for advice modestly when seeking jobs, and stand on the shoulders of predecessors to listen, ask, see and do more. In addition, Chu Mingliang, who was admitted to Tsinghua University for doctoral degree, Dong Yuqing, who was a doctoral candidate of the Central Party School, Li Yifan, who was admitted to Selected Graduates in Zhumadian City, and Hou Yalan, who was introduced and employed through the recruitment of high-level talents from Hebi City institutions, carefully and comprehensively shared their experiences in preparation for written examinations, interviewsso that everyone can have a more intuitive feeling of different types of selection mechanisms.

After sharing the experience, seniors combined their own experiences to answer the common questions and the selection of students related policies for a detailed answer. Counselor Li Mingxuan expressed his gratitude to all the outstanding graduates for their sharing, and hoped that all students could seize the opportunity, prepare carefully, live up to their youth and win a better tomorrow for themselves.

This sharing session combines the characteristics of our college's disciplines and the employment situation of previous graduates, and through the experience sharing of outstanding graduate representatives, the students, especially the third graduate students, understand the basic qualities and necessary skills required for different positions in advance, and help everyone prepares for future employment and exams.
