In order to help the 2020 freshmen to understand the rules and regulations of the school, adapt to the college life as soon as possible and complete the role transformation, our college carried out a variety of freshmen entrance education activities on September 14th and 16th.

    On September 14, our college held a safety education lecture. Ma Runcheng, Party secretary, gave a detailed explanation on traffic safety, personal safety, property safety, network security and mental health. With rich cases and lively and interesting language, the lecture not only popularized safety knowledge, but also laid the "first precaution" for effectively improving the safety awareness and self-protection awareness of the freshmen of 2020.

    On the morning of September 15th, our college held a series of lectures on specialty introduction. The teachers of Administrative Management, Labor and Social Security, Social Work and Philosophy gave detailed explanations to the students from the basic introduction to the key points and difficulties of learning, as well as employment and postgraduate entrance examination planning. The teachers also answered the questions raised by the freshmen, which enhanced their understanding of the major, cultivated their professional confidence and laid a solid foundation for further study of professional knowledge in the future.

    On the afternoon of September 15th, the education of rules and regulations was carried out in our college. Tian Fengshao, vice dean of the university, explained the credit system and student status management system in detail. Luo Chunli, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, focused on the work of the Party and League, introduced the structure of the school's Youth League Committee and the organizational structure of the school's departments, explained the detailed process and requirements of joining the Party, and encouraged students to actively draw closer to the Party organizations. Instructor Wang Zhenguang of Class 2020 explained the daily management and reward and punishment system of students.

    On September 16th, our college invited the medical staff of the university hospital to give a health education lecture for the freshmen. From the formation of daily life and diet habits, to the maintenance of mental health, and to the prevention of special infectious diseases, we should establish new health awareness in all aspects.

    Ma Jie taught the freshmen patriotism in our college. Taking the typical example of the school's fight against the Xin-Guan epidemic as the teaching material of patriotism practice, and combining the patriotic deeds of "Heda people" in history, the positive energy story of Heda is told well. While telling the positive energy story of Henan University, she deeply implanted patriotism in the hearts of new students, further promoted the spirit of patriotism and encouraged students to integrate the small self into the big self, and continuously contribute to the country.

    Let's seize the day and live it to the fullest. The three-day entrance education activity is the first class for freshmen to enter the university, and it is also a breakthrough in the comprehensive deepening of education development after the epidemic of teachers and students in the college.
