Abstract:Throughout all kinds ofthe genealogy of classic pragmatism, whether it is the lack of "genealogical integrity and coherence" caused by the rupture of "history and logic" on the path clues,or the "identity unity and identity difficulty" caused by the diversity and even conflict of genealogy description, we have to go backto and face the original problem of "how is the genealogy of classic pragmatism possible".In response to this problem,this paperproposes and demonstrates agenealogical conception of "naturalism"on the basis of investigating thedilemma andits rootof classical pragmatismgenealogyand realizesthe reconstruction ofclassical pragmatism genealogywith the clue of "pragmatic maxim".This not only answers the problem ofhow the classicalgenealogy of pragmatism is possible, but also provides a feasible path for the construction of the "postclassical" and even the whole genealogy of pragmatism.
