In order to guide students to deeply study and implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committeeand integrate the sense of social responsibility and national mission into professional study, our college launched the theme salon activity of "Momentous Changes unseen in a century: Achievements and Prospects"on November 20.Sun Peixin, former Secretary of the Party Committee of Henan University and vice Chairman of The Provincial Social Science Union, Professor He Yunfeng, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Political Department of the College, and Professor Ling Wenhao, Department of labor and social security of the college, were invited to attend the salon.According to the theme, the salon set up three sections: philosophy sailing, ideological and political guidance, and social security dialogue. Graduate students of relevant majors of our college actively participated in the salon and listened to the keynote speeches.

Connect with the reality of the subject, pay attention to national changes.Professor Ling Wenhao analyzed the "Momentous Changes unseen in a century" from the perspective of social security. Combing the major node events of social security at home and abroad in modern times, reviewing the birth and development of social security in China, he explained in detail the reform and changes of social security since the founding of the Communist Party of China, so as to further deepen students' understanding of China's social security.At the same time, he interpreted the social security regulations in "14th Five-Year Plan". Professor Ling pointed out that the social security reform in the current situation should be aimed at stabilizing and expanding employment, coordinating labor relations, and building basic pension and medical security that covers the whole people and coordinates urban and rural areas.In response to students' questions, Professor Ling answered one by one, guiding students to understand cutting-edge knowledge of social security, grasping the context of social security development, and further thinking about how to develop social security in the changing situation.
