Recently, the final of the 2020 National English competition for College Students in Henan Province was held in Huanghe Water Conservancy Vocational and technical college.Our college has made a new breakthrough in thisEnglish competition. Lin min and Lu Lin, who majored in administrative managementin 2017 grade, and Liu Sijie, who majored in public management in 2020grade, won the first national prize.Li Yufeiand other4students, who majored in philosophyin 2019 grade, won the second national prize. Yang Yuhanand other 12 students, who majored in administrative managementin 2018 grade, won the third national prize.Li meixuan and other 11students,who majored insocial workin 2020grade,won the provincial excellent award.

National English competition for college students (NECCS) is the only national English comprehensive ability competition held by the Ministry of education. Since the competition was carried out, teachers and students have attached great importance to it. The college has widely mobilized and organized it in an orderly way to promote learning by competition and application by learning, so that students can consolidate and expand their basic English knowledge and skills in preparing for the exam, and improve their comprehensive ability of using English in an all-round way.

The achievement is only a test, but learning is a lifelong mission. Lu Lin said:“there has never been a shortcut on the road of learning.
