On December 17th, the closing ceremony of the 17th Academic Festival of Henan University was held in the first conference room of our college.Lin Fei, deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee of Henan University, Luo Chunli, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of thecollege, and Tian Fengshao, vice president of the college attended the closing ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Jia Yinlan, secretary of the Youth League Committee of thecollege.

In her speech, Luo Chunli pointed out that this academic festival combines social hotspots with scientific research, adjusted the participation forms, enriched the theme connotation, and broadenedthepublicity channels, which received extensive attention and strong support from teachers and students throughout the school. The quantity and quality of the entries were also significantly improved compared with previous years.Persevering in difficulties and growing up through hard work, she hopes that the students can continue to carry forward the spirit of seeking knowledge, cherish development opportunities, apply what they have learned to promote learning and learn to make progress, and constantly strive to achieve academic peak.

Lin Fei read out the winners of the 17th College Student Academic Festival Competition and the winners ofthe4th "Challenge Cup" College Students' Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition of Philosophy and Public Management College.Afterwards, the leaders presented awards to the winning individuals and teams.

ZhaiMengjia, class of 2018, shared her competition experience as a student representative. Looking back on her experience in the competition, she pointed out that we should take brave steps in constant attempts, master correct methods under the guidance of teachers, improve our own quality in intensive reading papers, and strive to become a high-quality talent who is willing to be persistent, original, persistent and patient through hard training in the new era.

Tian Fengshao summarized the 17th Academic Festival. He pointed out that the entries covered a wide range of fields, including China’s five pronged strategy for building socialism with Chinese characteristics and various construction fields,showing the high sense of social responsibility of the young generation.Combined with his own guiding experience, he encouraged students to read professional works, observe the changes in the world, learn in strong ways, find partners, do their best and keep their heart.At the same time, Tian Fengshao also pointed out that the closing of the academic festival is not the end of academic research. It is reported that this academic festival was launched in October this year and lasted for 2 months. A total of 17 college students from our university signed up for the competition. On the basis of following the requirements of epidemic prevention and control,the contestants conducted "cloud research" and offline research.Through in-depth social investigation, thetopics are determined, combined with detailed analysis of professional knowledge, polished out a number of connotative and in-depth academic works.Keeping in touch with the pulse of the times and inheriting the fine traditions, the next Academic Festival will continue to uphold the purpose of "promoting the new style of the times, seeking scientific knowledge, exhibiting academic style, and enhancing the quality of students", continuously develop and innovate, and strive to provide a high-quality platform for the cultivation of pragmatic, rigorous and self disciplined academic talents, and constantly guide students to contribute to academic innovation and prosperity.
