On the afternoon of July 8, our college held the 2019 summer “going to the countryside”social practice training in the first conference room. Luo Chunli, deputy secretary of the college's Party committee, Liu Hui from the Department of administrative management, Zhu Lei from the Department of social work, and members of the“going to the countryside”team attended the meeting, which was presided over by Jia Yinlan, head of the Youth League Committee.

Luo Chunli stressed the significance of the social practice of "going to the countryside" and the achievements made by the college over the years, and put forward three requirements for this activity: First, keep the word "safety" in mind at all times to ensure the safety of personal and property; Second, carry forward the fine tradition of the college in practice, and show the good image of Henan university students to the society; Third, through practice, temper your will and improve your ability, devote your energy and youth to "double first class construction".

Volunteer representative Zhang Jiyuan read out the "summer social practice security commitment". Wang Zhichao,a 2016 grade administrative management major student, shared his research experience from the aspects of preliminary preparation, data collation, news publicity and team building.

Zhu Lei explained in detail the scientific methods of social investigation and summarized the "ten articles of social investigation". He stressed that research problems should be rooted in the fertile soil of "experience" and "Literature". He first made a solid "description", then tried to make "explanation", and finally put forward "countermeasures and suggestions" prudently. He advocated "more than 50000 words determine the style of study", encourage students to carry out in-depth interviews, and carefully collate the survey data.

Liu Hui hoped to cultivate students' abilities in social observation, social investigation and professional practice through the platform of "going to the countryside". He emphasized that we should standardize the three disciplines of politics, organization and life, experience the people's and social conditions in practice, perceive the changes of the country, and carry forward the positive energy. In view of the problems existing in the investigation, he gave guiding suggestions and encouraged students to look for differences between theory and theory, theory and reality, phenomenon and phenomenon.

It is reported that 37 teams of our college applied for this summer "going to the countryside" social practice project, covering the aspects of theoretical popularization and preaching, observation of historical achievements, education care service, beautiful China practice, etc. All teams will go to their hometown for social practice during the summer vacation. This training provides forward-looking guidance for the upcoming summer practice, helps students to better understand the national conditions and local conditions in practice, cultivate family feelings, and increases knowledge and ability.
