On the morning of September 2, the opening ceremony of 2019 freshmen of our college was held in the lecture hall on the second floor of the Computer Building.All leaders of the college, faculty representatives of various departments, heads of related departments of the college, and all undergraduates and postgraduates of 2019 attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Luo Chunli, deputy secretary of the College Party Committee.

With the solemn national anthem, the opening ceremony began. On behalf of the college, Dean Ji Zhichuang extended a sincere welcome to 422 freshmen from all over the country!As the first lesson of the school, he took "responsibility" as the theme and pointed out that as a new generation of dream chasers, they should remember their mission and live up to their brilliant youth; they shouldconfirm their mission to interpret their own existence.He said that as a student of philosophy and public management, you should deeply cultivate the academic knowledge, reach the realm of respect, courtesy, modesty and respect, and maximize the school motto of "To illustrate virtue and to renew the people, to rest in the highest excellence".

He Xuan, the teacher's representative, gave a speech on the topic of "Dream is the horse that lives his youth". She cut through the "confusion" and encouraged the freshmen to know themselves, see the society and care about the world, "see yourself, see the world,and see all living beings" to shoulder the mission and responsibility of the times.At the same time, she said that only by combining knowledge with practice and living a good day, can one hone one sword and achieve oneself in ten years.

Liu Jiancheng, the representative of old student, shared his growth story.He encouraged the freshmen to "go out": actively adapt, dare to try, challenge themselves, and to be amazing after four years.He Junche delivered a speech on behalf of the freshmen, expressing his yearning for university life, promising to be pious, knowledgeableand ambitious in the future, depicting the song of youth and writing the pride of philosophy and public management.

After the opening ceremony, Ma Runcheng, secretary of the Party Committee of the college, gave a lecture on safety education for freshman.
