Recently, our college participated in the bidding for the project of "Xi Jinping Discussion and Practice Case Study on Poverty Alleviation" released by the Poverty Alleviation Office of the State Council and stood out in the fierce competition among many universities and scientific research institutions across the country. The scientific research team led by Associate Professor Tian Fengshao successfully won the bid for the project of "Xi Jinping Discussion and Practice Case Study on Poverty Alleviation" and received a total of 1.48 million yuan for scientific research funding.

This is the second time that our college has undertaken such a project since it was approved by the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office in 2019for the project "Case Study Project for Poor County Decapitation". Under the guidance of the relevant departments of the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office, this project will select 3 typical cases of poverty alleviation from the five levels of provinces, cities, counties, townships and villages across the country, a total of 15 or so out of poverty tackling tough problems for its poverty engines typically experience in-depth research, the systematic summary and comprehensive diagnosis, form a series of research results , tell a good story of China's poverty alleviation and serve to win the poverty alleviation battle and establish a long-term mechanism for solving relative poverty.

The Party committee and leadership of the college attach great importance to project demonstration and bidding. The project application and bidding were supported by the school office, Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Finance Department, the Personnel Department and other functional departments. The winning of the project is an important embodiment of the education themed "never forget the original intention and keep the mission in mind" of the School of Philosophy and Public Management to promote the high-quality development of various the school's undertakings. It is also an important achievement of the college to serve the major strategic needs, condense the research direction and promote the development of the disciplines.
