Recently, Henan Provincial Department of Education announced the first batch of Henan first-rate undergraduate courses accreditation results. Forty courses of Henan University were in the first batch. The two courses, both "Public Policy" of Associate Professor Ma Cuijun's team and "Introduction to Logic" of associate Professor Yang Hongyu's team were recognized as provincial first-rate offline undergraduate courses, which is another honor for undergraduate teaching of our college. The course team of "Public Policy" is headed by Associate professor Ma Cuijun. The team members include two teachers, they are Bian Liang and He Xuan. They have made outstanding achievements in course teaching innovation, especially in process evaluation. The course team of "Introduction to Logic" is headed by Associate professor Yang Hongyu , and the team members include Guo Qiao, Cheng Xianli and other teachers. The course team does well in teaching and scientific research.

The construction of first-rate courses is an important measure to implement the revitalization of undergraduate education in the new times. It pays attention to the advancement of teaching ideas, the innovation of curriculum design, the scientific nature and epochal character of curriculum content and resources, and the significance of teaching effects. In recent years, our college has attached great importance to undergraduate education and teaching. Guided by the OBE education concept, we have reformed the existing curriculum system, and established first-rate undergraduate courses with high-order, innovative and challenging features, so as to realize the organic integration of knowledge, ability and quality and improve the comprehensive ability of students.

In the future, on the basis of the successful application of provincial first-rate courses, the college will continue to summarize the experience and promote the quality of teaching, give full play to the exemplary role of the first-rate course, strive to create more courses with first-rate quality and diversity, promote education quality of applied undergraduate through the construction of courses, strengthen the foundation position of talent cultivation and undergraduate education , deepen the first-rate undergraduate specialty construction.
