Recently, the results of the establishment of Henan University’s online and offline mixed undergraduate courses in 2020 have been announced, including “political science” (course leader Professor Cui Huimin), “history of Chinese philosophy” (Associate Professor Ye Ping, course leader), “government economics” (Associate Professor Zhang Ge, course leader) and “Chinese traditional festival culture” (Associate Professor Ma Fuzhen, course leader) Four courses were approved. This is the new progress in curriculum construction after 2 courses were selected into provincial first-class offline undergraduate courses, 2 courses were selected as excellent online teaching courses of undergraduate education in Henan Province, and 5 courses were awarded excellent ideological and political courses of school level anti epidemic.

Online and offline hybrid “golden course” is one of the “five golden Courses” in the future, together with online “golden course”, offline “golden course”, virtual simulation “golden course” and social practice “golden course”. Through the construction of “golden course”, the purpose is to improve the undergraduate course’s high-level, innovation and challenge, cultivate students’ comprehensive ability and advanced thinking to solve complex problems, and exploratory, personalized and interactive learning mode, to guide classroom revolution.

Our college will continue to strengthen the construction of the first-class “golden course”, give full play to the exemplary and leading role of the first-class “golden course”, continuously promote the curriculum reform and innovation, explore the diversified and mixed teaching mode with offline courses as the main body, and comprehensively improve the level of curriculum construction and the quality of talent cultivation.
