On October 26th, at the invitation of our college, Professor Shi Yungui from the School of Public Administration of Sichuan University gave a lecture on the topic of “Project Selection and Application Methods of National Social Science Fund Projects" to the young teachers of our college in the second meeting room of the college. The lecture was presided over by Vice President Ma Cuijun.

Professor Shi Yungui explained the topic selection and application methods of National Social Science Fund projects in detail. The content of the explanation includes that the topic selection of the National Social Science Fund project must be clearly positioned, combined with the important needs and key needs of the country and society, and grasped the " topic eye" of the scientific research in the guide; At the beginning of the application, "breaking the title" is the first step; the literature review is distinguished from the summary and the description, establish the combing latitude, and discuss the viewpoints step by step in a comparative way. Finally, the literature must be evaluated and reflect its own viewpoints, and the viewpoints echo with the previous "breaking the title";The research methods should be consistent with the research problem; the innovation should be specific and compatible with the research process; the overall design of the research content should be highly tempered and organically unified with the specific analysis.

After the explanation, the young teacher consulted Professor Shi Yungui in combination with the confusion in the application process, and Professor Shi gave detailed answers. The whole report is scientific, rigorous, specific, targeted and operational, which added confidence for teachers to apply for this year's national social science fund project.
